The Birthday boy with Preston Farnsworth.

The Awesome cake! Indiana Jones style.
We have had a crazy week. It all started with Jakey's 5th birthday! can you believe I have a son that is 5 years old? Anyway, we had a party, Doug and Shauna helped me make the coolest cake! and Jake had a lot of fun, but after the family parties and get togethers for his birthday he was pretty done with being the center of attention. The pictures got a little out of order than what I intended, I am still trying to get the hang of this blog thing, but his birthday pics are up. The cake looks awesome, doesnt it? You can read that the whip says Jake, right?
Okay, so next this week had to offer the beginning of swim lessons and T-ball for Jake, which he has really begun to enjoy. Swim was funny, because Jake is already really a good swimmer, he swims from one end of the pool to the other, and jumps in no problem, so we were a little concerned about which class to start him in because he is already pretty darn advanced. Anyway, first day, he was okay... and then it starts... one boy starts screaming, then a little girl, and that was it for Jake, he didnt want me to leave, and for the rest of the time, cried and didnt get into the water until the end. Nephi and I were seriously astonished, and wondered if we even should have spent the money if he was never gonna get in. Anyway, he did, and the next day he jumped in right away, and has already become one of the top 2 kids. We missed the first night of T-ball, my dad took Jake, because Nephi and I went to Sammy's (Nephis littlest brother) graduation at San Dimas High School. It was nice to see Sam graduate, but I seriously hope I never have to go to another graduation again! It was just so darn hot, even for Cody! I will post pics of that later, Nephi took some really good pictures.
By the way, I know the pictures look funky some being on the left, and then the center, but seriously I am just trying to get a hang of all this.
