8 is great!

Jacob turned 8 last June, and he made the decision to get baptized on July 2nd. We are soo proud of him and the choice he has made! It was so exciting to see our first baby be baptized. I really tried to have him completely understand this decision he was making, and we are so lucky to be in a ward with a supportive and helpful bishopric who also try to make our 8 year olds understand the choice they are making. Our bishop told Jake to always remember this acronym: TAKE- Take upon his name-Always remember him-Keep the commandments-Endure to the end. He worked really hard to understand and remember all the things he was told, and is working so hard to make good choices every day. We are so proud of you Jake! You are a GREAT kid!
